CM Punk already has a challenger lined up for his WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
The Best In The World recently surprised everyone with a title win, taking on Jey Uso at the latest installment of Saturday Night’s Main Event. The match was, as expected, intense, with both stars giving it their all. Nevertheless, it was The Second City Saint who came out on top. The only person who was likely not happy was Seth Rollins, who is currently out with an injury.
Since CM Punk’s return to the company, he has not had much of the main event spotlight despite his star power. While he had won the World Heavyweight Title before by taking down Gunther earlier this year at SummerSlam, it was a short-lived reign as Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to take the belt. However, it appears that this time Punk is going to have a much more satisfying run.
A WWE Star Has Challenged CM Punk
Before the dust could settle, CM Punk had already drawn the attention of credible challengers.
Taking to X/Twitter, Xavier Woods posted a video showing off his stamina and intensity. The video ended with a message for Punk with a veiled shot at Jey Uso.
Hey yo Punk, when you are ready to go up against somebody who doesn’t have baby lungs, you know where to find me.”

Xavier Woods is certainly not an opponent to be taken lightly. Just in the Stamford-based promotion, he has won the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship 5 times and the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship 7 times, as well as the NXT Tag Team Championship once. His video proves that he is perfectly fit for an intense match, and it remains to be seen if CM Punk will take him up on his challenge.
