WWE Discussing Lucha Brothers Reunion After Andrade’s Departure

Andrade’s second stint with WWE came to a shocking end after the company released him. This ended up leaving Rey Fenix without a partner since he’d been teaming with Andrade for the past few months. As it turns out, it seems WWE is now discussing a Lucha Brothers reunion after Andrade’s exit.

According to BodySlam.net, Rey Fenix’s creative plans are being reworked following Andrade’s exit from WWE. One idea being discussed is reuniting Fenix with his brother Penta to bring back The Lucha Brothers, but so far nothing has been finalized or scheduled.

“Rey Fénix’s immediate creative plans are now currently being reshuffled due to Andrade’s departure from WWE. The idea of reuniting Fénix and Pénta – The Lucha Brothers has been discussed, but nothing is confirmed or imminent as of right now.”

Andrade’s WWE firing led to a lot of changes, since Andrade was pulled from a scheduled tag match with Rey Fenix against the Wyatt Sicks at the Clash in Paris Premium Live Event.

While the sudden end of the Andrade–Fenix team is a setback, a possible Lucha Brothers reunion would be a huge chance for Fenix and an exciting moment for WWE fans. So we’ll have to see if they will end up reuniting soon enough.
