WWE’s move to ESPN came with a fresh new look for the company’s signature opening video.
At WrestlePalooza, fans saw the debut of an updated “Then. Now. Forever. Together” intro featuring some of the biggest legends and stars from past and present.
The new intro included Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, CM Punk, Becky Lynch, Steve Austin, The Rock, Roman Reigns, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Ric Flair, John Cena, Andre the Giant, Trish Stratus, Lita, Cody Rhodes, and several other iconic names. It served as the official introduction for WWE’s first premium live event airing on ESPN, setting the tone for a new era.
This isn’t the first time WWE has switched up its signature opening in recent years. The last change came earlier this year at WrestleMania 40, but the WrestlePalooza version was designed to coincide with the company’s major broadcast shift.
Do you think WWE’s new intro is a fitting way to kick off the ESPN era, or do you prefer the older versions? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
