What Is India vs Pakistan Record In Asia Cup History?

India vs Pakistan: There is no rivalry in the cricket world that matches the India vs Pakistan rivalry. While the Ashes has a more larger history compared to the Indo-Pak contention, there’s always been so much more to the Asian tussle compared to the Australia-England brawls.

The India vs Pakistan matches are proper blockbuster theater, with the build-up being for months, and that is despite them meeting only in multi-nation tournaments, like the ICC competitions and the Asia Cup, since bilateral series between them have been at a stand-off since 2013 due to their strained political and border relations.

The heat, intensity, competitiveness, spirit, fight, and war of words in an India vs Pakistan match are unparalleled to any other cricketing contest across the globe, not least with players, fans, and politicians of both sides seeping patriotism into a professional game of cricket.

The next India-Pakistan match, or matches, will take place at the upcoming Asia Cup 2025, which is set to begin on September 9. The biennial Asian continental senior men’s cricket tournament will take place in the UAE this year, with the BCCI retaining the hosting rights.

India (BCCI) are the designated host of the Asia Cup 2025. However, both BCCI and the PCB came to an agreement earlier this year, ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, that competitions hosted by India and Pakistan involving the other counterpart will be played in a hybrid model or totally outside the host nation since the India and Pakistan teams are not allowed by their respective governments to travel to their rival nation.

In the Asia Cup 2025, which is an eight-team tournament for the first time, India and Pakistan are grouped together in Group A, which also includes Oman and the UAE. The much-awaited India vs Pakistan clash is scheduled for September 14 in Dubai.

If these two teams finish in the top two of their group, which is expected, then they will meet again in the Super 4 round. We could also have an India vs Pakistan final if they reach it.

Let us check out the historical record between these two teams in the Asia Cup.
