Wardrobe Malfunction Forces Last-Minute Camera Angle Adjustment In WWE RAW Main Event

Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair defended the Women’s Tag Team Titles against Bayley and Lyra Valkyria in the main event on RAW.

Bayley called them out for a title opportunity last week. It all leads back to before WrestleMania this year, when Bayley was mysteriously attacked and lost the opportunity for the Tag Team Titles. To make it up to Lyra Valkyria, she had been trying to get a title shot. However, the discourse of their relationship eventually led to the match on RAW.

During the match on RAW, Alexa Bliss had to take off a piece of clothing when Lyra Valkyria’s hair got caught on her top after hitting her signature move, The Night Wing. Their quick thinking led to the cameraperson shifting focus to Charlotte Flair as Valkyria rolled out of the ring and Bliss recovered by removing the top layer of her garment.

The match concluded with Bliss and Flair hitting Bayley and Lyra with a double Natural Selection and pinning them to retain the titles. Post-match, Asuka and Kairi Sane attacked the women except Bayley, their former Damage CTRL stablemate.

WWE Seemingly Backs Asuka Against Goldberg’s Comments On WWE RAW

Recently, Goldberg referred to Asuka as ‘some girl’ who broke his undefeated streak in WWE. Now given Asuka’s contributions and accolades in the women’s division, it came across as an insult to many in the wrestling community. The WWE star herself responded to Goldberg’s comments.

During WWE RAW, a vignette highlighting Asuka’s achievements and records was aired. One part of it shed light on her Royal Rumble win, singles and tag team title reigns in addition to her undefeated streak. The timing of this clip did not come across as coincidental to many who instantly pointed it out.

At Crown Jewel earlier this month, The Kabuki Warriors lost to Rhea Ripley and IYO Sky after weeks of intense rivalry. The latest developments on RAW indicate that the two former Damage CTRL members could be on the prowl for tag team gold.
