Travis Kelce Receives Open Invitation to Join AEW Once NFL Career Ends

AEW is no stranger to having celebrities make appearances or even competing inside the ring. So that’s why it’s no surprise that Travis Kelce has received an open invitation to compete in AEW in the future.

While speaking to TMZ Sports, Jeff Jarrett was asked about Travis Kelce calling himself a wrestling guy and the idea of him appearing in AEW. Jarrett said he would love to see Kelce step into an AEW ring and even talked about giving him a signature guitar shot.

Jarrett noted that while Kelce has been around music, he’s probably never experienced that before. Jarrett added that both Travis and his brother Jason are natural showmen with performance in their DNA, which makes them a perfect fit for wrestling. He wished Travis success in the upcoming football season but made it clear that once his NFL career is over, the door to AEW would be open for him.

“I would love for Kelce to step into an AEW ring. And I’ll tell you one thing—we’ve got a guitar shot waiting for him. He’s been around music for a while, but I don’t think he’s ever taken a guitar shot, Steve. So I’ve got one ready for Travis.

But seriously, I’d welcome him into an AEW ring anytime. I think he could make a lot of noise. Him and his brother are natural showmen—you can see it’s in their DNA, which is pretty cool. I wish Travis nothing but success this season, but one day his football career will end. When that time comes, the door will be open at AEW.”

Jason Kelce previously made an appearance at WrestleMania 40, where he helped out Rey Mysterio in a big way. So we’ll have to wait and see whether Travis Kelce will ever make his way to an AEW ring, since Jeff Jarrett’s close relationship with Taylor Swift could definitely make that happen.
