The Undertaker regrets wearing snakeskin pants at WWE Survivor Series 2000.
At WWE Survivor Series 2000, The Undertaker faced Kurt Angle for the WWF Championship. During the match, after The Undertaker performed the Last Ride the referee stopped the count as it turned out to be Kurtâ€s brother, Eric Angle. Taking advantage, Angle rolled up The Undertaker for the win while the Deadman was focused on the referee.
While Kurt Angle pulled off the shocking victory, The Undertakerâ€s choice to wear snakeskin pants drew fan criticism for decades. Looking back, he admitted that the outfit was a major mistake.
On the Six Feet Under podcast, WWE Hall of Famer explained that he regretted the decision immediately, especially because he didnâ€t have his usual black pants as a backup. “Yes, there was instant regret when I put them on and even more regret when I knew that I didnâ€t have a backup pair. Not a pair of snakeskin pants, Iâ€m talking about a pair of my black regular pants that I normally would wear.â€
“I didnâ€t have those, so I was left with no other option that to wear the snakeskin pants. “I thought it was going to be the absolute coolest badass thing that anyone had ever (worn)… “…Iâ€m not defending them, I am on board with everyone else that was probably one of the worst wardrobe decisions that I ever made.†[H/T: Wrestletalk]
