On Friday, the U.S. and European Ryder Cup teams will begin a three-day battle for the 45th Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black. Anticipation for the biennial exhibition has been building since the Europeans won the 2023 Ryder Cup in Rome by the commanding margin of 16.5-11.5.
The Europeans will be hoping to win their first Cup overseas since the close match at Medinah in 2012, which Europe won 14.5-13.5.
Each team is comprised of 12 players. Six players on each team qualified automatically while the other six were selected by each team’s respective captains. Below, you can find information on the players on each team, as well as the names of the captains and their assistants.
Keegan Bradley won the PGA Championship in 2011 and played on two Ryder Cup teams in 2012 and 2014, both of which were won by the Europeans. Bradley has a 4-3-0 career record.
