Shivam Dube is an Indian international cricketer who represents India, Mumbai in domestic cricket, and the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League. He is a right-arm medium-pace bowler and a left-handed batting all-rounder. Dube made his international debut in November 2019. He played for India, which won the Asia Cup in 2025 and the T20 World Cup in 2024.

Dube started playing cricket while he was a student at Hansraj Morarji Public School. But at the age of 14, he was forced to quit playing because of weight problems and financial difficulties. He returned to the sport at the age of 19 after improving his fitness, and he was quickly selected for the Mumbai Under-23 squad.

Shivam Dube made his Twenty20 debut for Mumbai in the 2015–16 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on 18 January 2016. He later made his List A debut for Mumbai in the 2016–17 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 25 February 2017. In September 2025, during the Asia Cup match against the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Dube recorded his career-best T20I bowling figures of 3 wickets for 4 runs (3/4).

Shivam Dube married Anjum Khan, his longtime girlfriend, in a private ceremony in Mumbai on July 16, 2021. The couple has a son named Ayaan, born on 13 February 2022, and a daughter named Mehwish, born on 3 January 2025.

    Who are Shivam Dube Parents?

Shivam Dubeâ€s parents are Rajesh Dube and Mashuri Dubi. His father, Rajesh Dube, migrated from UP to Mumbai in search of better job opportunities and worked hard to build a life for his family. When Shivam quit cricket at age 14 due to money issues, his uncle Ramesh Dube and cousin Rajiv Dube convinced him to return to the sport four years later.

Shivam Dube Father – Rajesh Dube

Rajesh Dube is originally from the Bhadohi district in Uttar Pradesh and later moved to Mumbai for work. He began with a dairy business before starting a jeans factory. He is now a retired businessman who proudly watches his son represent India.

Rajesh Dube is the first coach of Indian cricketer Shivam Dube. A former wrestler, Rajesh recognized Shivamâ€s cricket talent at the age of four and personally trained him for over 20 years, often practicing with him from morning to evening. He massaged Shivam with mustard oil daily to build his strength and physique.

Rajesh set up a turf pitch in their backyard and gave hundreds of throwdowns himself, believing firmly that his son was destined to play top-level cricket. Even during financial hardships that forced the closure of his jeans factory and a five-year break from Shivamâ€s cricket, Rajesh never gave up. Despite the struggles, Rajesh says his only wish is simple: “Bas India ke liye khele, yehi meri ek iccha hai†(My only wish is to see him play for India).

Shivam Dube Mother – Madhuri Dube

Madhuri Dube is a homemaker and the emotional strength of the family. She has consistently inspired Shivam to keep playing cricket, even in the face of financial hardship.
