Seth Rollins Teases Potential Injury Following WWE Crown Jewel

Seth Rollins put it all on the line today at WWE Crown Jewel to finally defeat Cody Rhodes in a one-on-one matchup. But at what cost?

During the main event of WWE Crown Jewel, Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes both performed some extreme maneuvers on one another, attempting to pick up the victory. Rhodes hit Rollins with an avalanche Cross Rhodes and a Vertebreaker, but it wasnâ€t enough to put The Visionary away.

Rollins, on the other hand, hit Rhodes with an insane coast-to-coast headbutt, which seemingly injured the World Heavyweight Champion.

After this move, Rollins seemed to be favoring his left arm for the rest of the match but still came away with the victory.

Later on during the WWE Crown Jewel Post Show, Rollins addressed the move and teased that he might have suffered an injury during the bout.

“The truth is, I told Cody that I would do anything. By any means necessary,†Seth Rollins said. “Whatever it took, I was going to beat him. I saw an opportunity, I took it, it didnâ€t pay off. Honestly, there might be some long-term ramifications. At the end of the day, I was going to lay it all on the line. I did everything in that ring, no matter what. Rough landing right there. Rough landing.†[H/T: Fightful]

While Rollins faked an injury earlier this year to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase at SummerSlam, this doesnâ€t seem to be the case. Hopefully, there is no serious damage done to Rollins from this match or WWE might be forced to vacate the World Heavyweight Championship.

Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information as it becomes available.
