The Ottawa Senators are bringing back one of their depth forwards ahead of training camp.
Jan Jenik has signed a one-year, two-way contract to remain with the Senators for the 2025-26 season, the team announced Monday.
Jenik joined the Senators organization last season and suited up for two games at the NHL level without tallying a point.
He was acquired in a trade with the Utah Mammoth last summer for forward Egor Sokolov.
The 24-year-old primarily played with the Belleville Senators in the American Hockey League, grabbing 12 goals and 17 assists in 52 games.
Since being drafted 65th overall in the third round of the 2018 draft by the Coyotes, he has collected four goals and two assists in 24 NHL games.
