WWE NXT Highlights: During the WWE NXT episode of 10 September 2025, we saw many storyline progress, as the Special Event NXT Homecoming 2025 is going to take place at Full Sail University’s Full Sail Live venue in Winter Park, Florida, on September 16, 2025. 

During the September 10th episode of WWE NXT, we saw Rhea Ripley, Stephanie Vaquer, and the WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton returning to NXT. They returned to the performance center after many years to confront Fatal Influence. Now let’s have a deep look at what happened in the Sep 10 episode of WWE NXT.

WWE NXT Highlights: Josh Briggs Vs Je’von Evans

Before the match even started, Je’von Evans called out Josh Briggs, which led to a brawl and ultimately set up their match. During the match, Briggs delivered a knuckle punch to Evans and defeated him Via pinfall.

WWE NXT Highlights: Carmelo Hayes returns to NXT

Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa came out to the ring, as they were delivering their promo, they were interrupted by the TNA World Champion Trick Williams. As Williams walked towards the ring, he stated he was not alone, and then we saw the return of Carmelo Hayes. After that, Gargano and Ciampa stated they want to see all these NXT greats standing in the ring to have a match, and they challenged Williams and Hayes to a tag team match at NXT Homecoming 

WWE NXT Highlights: Blake Monroe is not done with Jordynne Grace

In a video promo, Blake Monroe stated that she is not finished with Jordynne Grace. She further stated, “You have not humbled me, you have awakened me.” This message will eventually lead to another match between Monroe and Grace.

WWE NXT Highlights: Joe Hendry appears

During a tag team title match between The Darkstate and Hank & Tank, Joe appeared in the middle of the match. Hendry tried to attack the Darkstate, but that distracted the referee, and with that, Darkstate defeated Hank & Tank to retain their tag team titles.

WWE NXT Highlights: Ethan Page Vs Tavion Height in a Flag Match

Tavion Heights faced the NXT North American champion, Ethan Page, in a Flag match. The rules of the matches were that whoever retrieves the flag of their country first wins the match. Heights was able to get the United States Flag from the corner, defeating Page. After the match, as Page was lying down on the mat, Tyler Breeze came out to the ring and took a selfie with him, and challenged Page to a match on NXT Homecoming.

In the main event, Izzy Dame and Tatum Paxley defeated Fatal Influence and the team of Zaria and Sol Ruca to earn the number one contender spot for the WWE women’s tag team titles. After that, Jacy Jayne delivered a promo, and she was interrupted by Rhea Ripley, Stephanie Vaquer, and the WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton. They attacked Fatal Influence and challenged them to a 6-woman tag team match at NXT Homecoming
