It’s been a busy month in the East – here are just some of the events we’ve been involved with.
Ping Pong Social Event – The Howard Centre, Welwyn Garden City
On Sunday 26 October, the Howard Centre in Welwyn Garden City (Hertfordshire) played host to the second Ping Pong Social event held in the shopping centre’s Ping Pong Parlour. A massive thank you to Anthony Ward from the SHAW Table Tennis League for running the event, which captured the attention of a number of young people taking part.
Essex Boys & Girls Club TTE Activator Success
On Wednesday 12 November, Table Tennis England and Essex Boys & Girls Club came together at Frenford Clubs to host a TTE Activator clubs, aimed at supporting club and young leaders to make the sport more accessible in clubs across Essex.
Junior Umpires Award – Kempston Academy
Table Tennis England, Be Active and Kempston Academy have once again worked together to facilitate a Junior Umpires Award to support the School Games in Bedfordshire. A massive thank you to Esteban Bernasconi from Bedford Table Tennis Club for his help in supporting the training.
