Pakistan qualifies for their 6th Final

On September 25, the Pakistan vs Bangladesh Asia Cup 2025 Super Four match took place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. This match was a knock-out match with the winning team qualifying for the finals and facing Team India, and the losing team would have been eliminated. Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bowl first. In the initial overs, the Bangladeshi team completely outclassed the Pakistani team. As usual, the biggest issue with Pakistan was their upper batting line-up. With the help of Mohammad Haris, Mohammad Nawaz, and Shaheen Shah Afridiâ€s quick run-scoring innings, Pakistan was able to score 135 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs.

Bangladesh was coming into this match without their captain, Litton Das, as he was reportedly injured during a training session. Jaker Ali was announced as the stand-in captain for the Bangladeshi team. Pakistan took early wickets, as all the Bangladeshi batsmen were playing plenty of high-risk shots, which cost them early wickets. Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf took 3 wickets each, and Saim Ayub took 2 wickets by giving just 16 runs in his 4 overs. Pakistan, with their brilliant bowling performance, successfully defended the score and defeated Team Bangladesh by 11 runs.
