Opening for October 27 WWE RAW Revealed

The stage is officially set for a heated start to Monday Night RAW.

According to PWInsider Elite, CM Punk and Jey Uso are scheduled to open tonightâ€s show live from Anaheim, California, just days before they clash for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Nightâ€s Main Event.

This face-to-face was originally teased last week after WWE confirmed that Punk and Uso would collide for the title. The belt was vacated after Seth Rollins suffered a shoulder injury during his championship match against Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel. Punk was initially set to face Rollins, but plans changed fast once the injury forced a reshuffle.

Punk earned his shot after defeating Jey Uso and LA Knight in a triple threat match. When Rollins was officially stripped of the title by RAW General Manager Adam Pearce, a battle royal was set to determine Punkâ€s opponent. Jey Uso won that match by eliminating both Knight and his own brother, Jimmy Uso, in a shocking finish that stunned the crowd.

Punk and Uso kicking off RAW is a move that puts their rising tension front and center. WWE clearly wants fans locked in early as these two prepare for a career-defining showdown. Whether tonightâ€s confrontation explodes into physicality or just sets the emotional tone, the RAW opener is must-see.

Also on tonightâ€s episode: Roxanne Perez of Judgment Day faces WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss defend the Womenâ€s Tag Team Titles against Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, and Penta goes one-on-one with Rusev to determine who will challenge Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship.

WWE RAW Lineup for October 27, 2025 Episode:

  • CM Punk and Jey Uso Face Off
  • Womenâ€s Tag Team Championship: Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Bayley & Lyra Valkyria
  • No. 1 Contenderâ€s Match for Intercontinental Championship: Rusev vs. Penta
  • AJ Styles and Dragon Lee Set to Appear
  • Roxanne Perez vs. Nikki Bella

Ringside News will be providing live play-by-play coverage of this weekâ€s show over in our WWE Monday Night RAW coverage hub. It promises to be a memorable episode for many reasons, so it remains to be seen how the episode will turn out.

Are you expecting a brawl between CM Punk and Jey Uso to kick off RAW, or will it stay all talk until Saturday? Drop your thoughts in the comments—we want to know who you think is walking out with the title.
