WWE NXT Highlights: WWE NXTâ€s episode on 22nd October was the go-home show for the upcoming Premium Live Event, Halloween Havoc. WWEâ€s Halloween Havoc will take place in the Findlay Toyota Center in Arizona on 26 October 2025. In India, this event can be watched live on Netflix at 4:30 AM.Â
On this episode of WWE NXT, we saw many great matches and moments, including the return of Matt Hardyâ€s Broken Character. We also saw multiple new matches being made official for Halloween Havoc, and it was already advertised that the main event of this show will be a contract-signing segment between Ricky Saints and Trick Williams to make their match at Halloween Havoc official.
Tatum Paxley, alongside her faction, the Culling, started this show. Paxley stated that she is so thankful for the WWE Universe for believing in her when the rest of the world didn’t, and she promised the Culling that she will bring the single gold to this faction. As she was delivering her promo, she was interrupted by the NXT Womenâ€s Champion, Jacy Jayne, and the rest of the Fatal Influence.
Jacy Jayne came out and said that Tatum Paxley doesnâ€t have a single chance to beat her at Halloween Havoc, and there is no way that she can win her Womenâ€s NXT Championship. Paxley replied and said that just like Jacy Jayne, she also kept working and working, and she has gotten a lot better than anyone can expect, and she further said that there is nothing that will stop her from becoming the new NXT Womenâ€s Champion at Halloween Havoc.
On this episode of WWE NXT, we saw Leon Slater defending his TNA X Division Championship against Stacks. This match went on for 15+ minutes, and at the end of the match, Slater delivered Swanton 450 to retain his title via pinfall. After the match, Jeâ€Von Evans and Leon Slater said they want to face a tag team at Halloween Havoc. They further said that they donâ€t care who answers this challenge, and they will face anyone. After that, we saw Mr. Iguana and La Parka come out to accept this challenge.
During a video package, we saw the return of Matt Hardyâ€s Broken Character and challenged the Dark State for the NXT Tag Team Championship to a Broken Rules Match. This match was later confirmed in the show and will officially take place at Halloween Havoc.
Sol Ruca announced that she got injured on SmackDown during her tag team match, and she cannot defend her title at Halloween Havoc against Blake Monroe. After that, we saw Blake Monroe coming out, and she said as Sol Ruca can’t defend, she should be handed the North American title. After that, Zaria said, she wants to defend Rucaâ€s title at Halloween Havoc against Monroe. After that, the NXT Manager Ava made the match official, and Zaria will officially defend the North American Championship against Blake Monroe.
In this episode, we saw the former NXT Tag Team Champions, Hank and Tank, facing OTM in a Tag Team Match. This match went for 10+ minutes, and at the end of the match, OTM defeated Hank and Tank via pinfall. After the match, we saw OTM attacking Tank Ledger and putting him through the announce table.
After the opening segment, it was announced that Izzy Dame and Tatum Paxley will face Jacy Jayne and Lainey Reid in a tag team match. This match went on 15+ minutes, and during this match, we saw the NXT audience chanting “This is Awesomeâ€. At the end of the match, Fallon Henley distracted Izzy Dame, which allowed Jacy Jayne to deliver a Discus Forearm Smash to Paxley, and she secured the win for her team via pinfall.
As it was already announced, the main event of this episode of WWE NXT will be a contract-signing segment between Ricky Saints and Trick Williams. Both Ricky and Trick signed the contract and made the match official for the NXT Championship at Halloween Havoc. This segment ended with Ricky putting Trick through the table and standing tall over him.
