NFL Legend Peyton Manning Attends Arch, Texas vs. UGA, Watches Nephew Warm Up on Video
Legendary former quarterback Peyton Manning was in attendance for a key SEC matchup on Saturday.
Manning was seen watching his nephew, Arch, warm up before No. 10 Texas faced off against No. 5 Georgia at Sanford Stadium on Saturday.
Peyton was also spotted chatting with actor Matthew McConaughey, a devoted Longhorns fan.
Arch leaned on the Pro Football Hall of Famer for advice leading up to his first season as a full-time starter in 2025, detailing their interaction after he threw an interception during a two-minute drill in practice over the offseason.
“I threw a pick in a two-minute drill in the summer, and I texted Peyton, ‘Hey, any advice on how to get better in two-minute? And it was like a 30-minute voice memo,” Arch said, per ESPN’s Dave Wilson.
The 21-year-old didn’t start his 2025 campaign on a high note, but has looked much more composed both in and out of the pocket as of late.
Over Manning’s first five games of the season, he completed 60.0 percent of his throws for 1,151 yards and 11 touchdowns compared to five interceptions. Texas owned a 3-2 record over that span.
In Manning’s past four games, he’s completed 65.4 percent of his passes for 972 yards and seven touchdowns while only getting picked off once. The Longhorns won all four contests.
Saturday’s matchup will contain serious College Football Playoff implications, as a third loss would significantly impact Texas’ chances of securing a third consecutive CFP appearance.
