Three new matches have been added to the Saturday, September 6 AEW Collision lineup.
In a one-on-one bout, Mark Briscoe will face Konosuke Takeshita on Saturday’s show. The bout was set up on Wednesday AEW Dynamite when Briscoe issued a challenge to The Don Callis Family. Callis answered on Takeshita’s behalf, and Takeshita and Briscoe had a face-to-face in the ring. Briscoe went on to defeat Lance Archer of the Callis Family on Wednesday’s episode.
An All Star eight-woman tag has also been newly announced for Saturday’s card, with Toni Storm, Mina Shirakawa, Kris Statlander, and Harley Cameron teaming against Megan Bayne, and Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Skye Blue, and Julia Hart).
FTR will also be in action on Saturday against Adam Priest and a partner yet to be announced. Priest was featured in a tag match against FTR on last week’s Collision where he teamed with JD Drake. Priest frequently appears on Ring of Honor programming, and was part of the FTR and Christian Cage & Adam Copeland angle on Wednesday’s Dynamite, as the ROH locker room emptied to pull the two teams apart as they brawled in the ring.
Already announced for Saturday’s show is Jon Moxley vs. Daniel Garcia as the AEW residency at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia continues.
