MVP Refutes Rumor He Has Heat With AEW Star

The Hurt Syndicateâ€s MVP has refuted claims that he has heat with a fellow AEW star.

Rumors emerged about MVP having backstage heat with AEW star “Speedball†Mike Bailey a few months ago. While both sides have joked about the rumors earlier, the former two-time WWE United States Champion has now directly refuted those claims.

While speaking on his podcast Marking Out with MVP & Dwayne Swayze, MVP revealed that he never claimed to dislike Mike Bailey and that he donâ€t have any problem with the talents he work with in AEW.

“At no point did I ever say that I dislike ‘Speedball†Mike Bailey. I donâ€t have an issue with Speedball. We work together, we see each other, we shake hands and we keep it moving. Like, thereâ€s no issue there.â€

“I donâ€t have any problems with any of the talent that I work with at AEW. Mike Bailey is one of the nicest guys around. I donâ€t have a problem with him.â€

MVP further stated that apart from normal professional disagreements, the AEW stars always get along with each other, and said he donâ€t know of any talent in the locker room having legitimate beef with anybody.

“And to be honest, as far as I know, amongst talent at AEW, I think everybody pretty much gets along amongst the talent,†MVP said. “I mean, yeah, youâ€re always going to have professional disagreements. And everybodyâ€s, you know, jockeying for a position. Everybody wants to be the top guy. So, yeah, youâ€re going to have rifts and youâ€re going to have issues.â€

“But for the most part, I donâ€t know of anybody in the AEW locker room that has, like, legitimate beef with anybody.†[H/T f4wonline]

Apart from managing The Hurt Syndicate, MVP occasionaly laces up his wrestling boots. He recently stepped inside the ring at WrestleDream, where he teamed with Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley to defeat Bishop Kaun, Ricochet, and Toa Liona. The Hurt Syndicate are now the No.1 contenders for The Opps†AEW World Trios Championship.
