Micah Parsons Says He Rolled 258 in Bowling Matchup vs. Josh Jacobs, Mecole Hardman

Green Bay Packers defensive superstar Micah Parsons bowled a 258 (out of a possible 300) while hanging out recently with a few of his teammates, including running back Josh Jacobs and wide receiver Mecole Hardman, per ESPN’s Rob Demovsky on Friday.

The Packers players bowled three games, and Parsons posted that great 258 score in the second one.

“Second game in, I rolled 258,” Parsons said. “Not too bad, not too shabby. Took Josh Jacobs and Mecole and a couple of those guys like that, so I’m just happy we competing, we’re spending time outside the building and we just building relationships.”

Jacobs corroborated his team’s 258 score but noted that he did pretty well himself.

“We played three games,” Jacobs said. “All I know is I didn’t leave down [money]. I left up.”

Competition is big among Parsons and his teammates. Demovsky also noted that Parsons plays games of HORSE and pingpong with fellow Packers. He’s notably fared well against tight end Tucker Kraft with a 2-0 record.

“Oh, man, winning is everything to me,” Parsons said. “I don’t think you’re going to find a more competitive person on the team or anywhere in the NFL when it comes to anything we do. We could go out and shoot hoops. We could go out there and throw a baseball, see who can throw the hardest … We could go run 40-yard sprints, I’ll wait until you get tired if you’re faster than me.

Parsons is getting along great with his new teammates after the Dallas Cowboys traded the two-time First Team All-Pro on Aug. 28. He’s also leading the NFL’s top defense, ranked No. 1 in fewest points allowed per game (14.7 PPG). Parsons has six quarterback hits and a sack-and-a-half thus far.

He’s got a particularly big game in Week 4, when he goes back to his old stomping grounds and faces the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.
