PRINCETON, N.J. — The Princeton men’s volleyball team announced the six captains who will lead the squad for the 2025-26 season on Friday.
Kyle Gschwend, Owen Mellon, Andrew Werner, Tristan Whitfield, Nolan Kelly and Ryan Vena will head the squad as they enter their senior season after already serving as leaders of the squad during their time in the Orange & Black.
“We are very excited to name this group as the leaders of the 2025-2026 season,” said Head Coach Sam Shweisky. “Each one of them has something special to give in terms of their ability to help lead this program to where we want to go. In the pursuit of true servant leadership, everyone has a role to play and no role is too small to make a big impact within our program. These guys will give of themselves to this team, and their efforts will make a difference and propel us forward.”
After winning the 2025 EIVA regular season championship this spring, the Tigers will now look to a Fall of preparation before they kick off the season in 2026.
