Matt Riddle Blasts CM Punk As a “Creep” for Spending Too Much Time Around Cora Jade

Matt Riddle is now going scorched earth on CM Punk once again, as he has now called out the Second City Saint for hanging out with Cora Jade and even calling him a creep.

While speaking on Inside the Ring, Matt Riddle turned his attention to CM Punk when asked about the backlash Punk has faced recently. Riddle didn’t hold back, saying Punk wouldn’t stand a chance against him in a real fight and could face him anywhere, whether in a bare-knuckle boxing match or an MMA cage.

“Let’s be honest. Did I lie? CM Punk’s a p***y. He can’t beat me in a fight. If he wants to step up, he can meet me in a bare knuckle boxing fight. He can meet me in an MMA cage. Whatever, dude.”

When the hosts asked about Punk being around NXT, Riddle said he didn’t like how much time Punk spends in the locker room and called him a creep. He mentioned that Punk is close with younger wrestlers like Cora Jade, but said it feels like Punk is hanging around too much.

“I don’t… I think he’s fake and I think he’s a creep. I don’t know. I feel like he’s just lingering around the NXT locker room a little too much. There’s a lot of things about him… He has like Cora Jade as his daughter and everything. And everybody he kind of oversees.”

The hosts called Punk a mentor in NXT, saying, “He’s become a mentor in NXT.” Riddle answered with sarcasm and said he doesn’t see it that way, as he said, “That’s one way of putting it.”

CM Punk and Cora Jade have a very close relationship but it’s clear Matt Riddle sees it in a very different way. Regardless, Riddle’s comments are definitely going to draw the ire of many people and so we’ll have to see whether CM Punk will respond to the King of Bros.

Do you think Matt Riddle’s comments about CM Punk crossed the line, or is he just saying what others are afraid to? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
