LA Knight Issues Message After Cheating CM Punk On RAW

Following Monday Night RAW, LA Knight sent a scathing message to CM Punk moments after upending him in the main event.

This week’s episode in Dallas, Texas, featured Knight and Punk against The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) in a tag-team match. Three of them (except Jimmy) are vying for Seth Rollins’s World Heavyweight Championship, and the tensions between them are fiercer than ever. Before the tag-match went underway, The Second City Saint decided to outwit The Megastar by interrupting the latter’s entrance. Knight didn’t seem to be amused with the move, but still went along with Punk and had a hard-fought battle in the ring. However, Knight took it upon himself to grab the victory for his team by outsmarting Punk. After the former WWE Champion delivered the GTS to Jey, the former US Champion sneaked in with a tag and went for the pinfall.

By the end of the night, The Megastar stood tall and taunted The Second City Saint and Main Event Jey.

LA Knight Warned CM Punk and Jey Uso After RAW Went Off The Air

After one-upping CM Punk, LA Knight went backstage to issue a fiery warning as he’s still on his quest to win his first world title in WWE. The Megastar informed The Second City Saint and Jey Uso that they should not get in his way.

Here’s what Knight said:

No matter how you do it, by hook or by crook, my hand was raised; it’s that’s how it goes down. Now, CM Punk you did the whole thing. You didn’t do dirt, you didn’t get dirt and that’s okay but I tell you like this man….. Look, I told you [Punk] before, I tell you again. Do not…. this goes for Jey [Uso] too, do not get in the way on my quest for gold. Do not get in the way of my ecstacy of gold and that is me, holding that World Heavyweight Championship. The first time, the time that everybody’s gonna remember the era of YEAH and the era of everybody sayin’ L.A Knight, YEAH!”

LA Knight has scored back-to-back wins on RAW, and it will be interesting to see if that will propel him back to the world title picture.
