Kenny Omega is officially returning to AEW television next Wednesday on the special extended edition of Dynamite from Boston—just days before the Full Gear pay-per-view.
This will mark Omegaâ€s first appearance since AEW WrestleDream in October, where he helped Jurassic Express fend off the Don Callis Family following their match with the Young Bucks.
While AEW has yet to reveal what Omega will be doing on the show, heâ€s already confirmed for Full Gear, where heâ€ll team with Jack Perry and Luchasaurus against the Young Bucks and Josh Alexander. A fictional $1 million prize has been added to the storyline stakes, raising the tension for the six-man tag bout.
Also made official for Wednesdayâ€s three-hour combined Dynamite and Collision special is a non-title match between AEW World Champion Hangman Page and AEW Trios Champion Katsuyori Shibata. The two clashed on Dynamite after Pageâ€s brutal falls count anywhere victory over Powerhouse Hobbs, with Shibata attacking the champion to set the stage for their upcoming battle.
Omegaâ€s presence on the show adds even more intrigue as AEW heads toward Full Gear. As a reminder, Ringside News will have live coverage.
What do you want to see from Kenny Omegaâ€s return? Should AEW add more stakes to the Full Gear trios match? Drop your thoughts below.
