John Robertson has been appointed Ross County interim manager following the departure of Don Cowie.
Cowie left the manager’s post on Sunday saying he had “mutually agreed” it was in the Scottish Championship bottom club’s “best interest”.
The Staggies have one point from their opening three games.
Robertson, 60, was previously County boss in 2005 and returned to the club as part of Cowie’s coaching team earlier this year. He has also been in charge of Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Hearts, Livingston, Derry City and East Fife.
Ross County said on X: “Robertson will lead first team training and prepare the squad for our Scottish Championship match versus Dunfermline Athletic at East End Park.”
