How did Jeff Hardy come up with the Swanton Bomb name for his finishing maneuver?

TNA World Tag Team Champions The Hardy Boys recently appeared on Kai Cenatâ€s Mafiathon 3 stream. When asked how he came up with the Swanton Bomb name, Jeff shared the interesting story behind his renaming of the Senton Bomb to the Swanton Bomb.

“I did, man,†Jeff Hardy said when asked who came up with the name. “I call it Grace within the front flip, you know? But then I say, yeah, a swan is beautiful and kind of majestic. So I asked Jim Ross, why donâ€t we call it Swanton instead of Senton?â€

Matt would quickly chime in and note that while Senton is the technical term for the move, Jeff wanted to modify it a bit.

“Senton was the original, technical name for it, and Jeff modified a little bit,†Matt Hardy said. “He said, thatâ€s kind of like a swan dive, I do. And he does, he has such a pretty ass form.â€
