Injury Scare For WWE Legends As They Lose Top Title

After losing a major title, there is a huge injury scare for two WWE legends.

The Halloween Havoc, scheduled for Saturday, October 25, featured top title matches with many shocking results. Blake Monroe won her first WWE title, beating Sol Ruca’s replacement, Zaria, whereas Tatum Paxley beat the NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne.

However, there was another title change during the show, which shocked the world.

WWE Legends Deliver Top Performance Before Losing Major Title

During the NXT x TNA Showdown, the Hardy Boyz beat DarkState to claim the NXT Championship, becoming double champions along with the TNA Tag Titles. However, next week, they were ambushed by the villainous faction backstage, and warned that they would destroy them two weeks later.

The double champions came out prepared to defend the NXT title at Halloween Havoc on October 25, against Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin of DarkState in a Broken Rules Match. The match was highly physical and delivered many high-flying moves, with tables and ladders getting involved. It also featured an iconic Senton by Jeff Hardy off the 20-foot ladder, but their opponent got up, and he crashed through two tables.

Near the decisive moments of the match, DarkState delivered a Doomsday Table Snap on Jeff when Matt was tied to one corner. Following the massive blow, Jeffy was knocked out, leading to a pinfall and loss of the titles.
