The Coyotes, though, took over the next two sets, claiming 25-22 and 25-19 decisions, to take a 2-1 lead. Cal State LA, though, jumped out to a 21-10 lead after consecutive kills from Topete, DaCoud, Cetin, Mariana Alvarado and Topete again. The fifth set swung in Cal State LA’s favor after a 4-0 spurt broke an 8-8 tie.
