Former WWE Champion’s Heart Procedure Got Done In Under An Hour

WWE Hall of Famer provides a major health update.

One of the most popular wrestling veterans of all time, a former WWE Champion and Hall of Famer, Kevin Nash, recently underwent a successful heart procedure.

On September 24, 2025, Nash was admitted for a procedure to address an irregular heartbeat. Nash’s recent disclosure of a potential, previously unknown heart attack, suffered twenty years ago, brought the health issue to light. The 66-year-old opened up about the procedure and discussed the aftermath of his surgery on the latest episode of his Kliq This podcast.

“So I wake up. Heâ€s smiling at me. Theyâ€re happy. I said, okay, you know, weâ€ll get your wife. She came in and said, ‘you want something to drink?†I said, ‘yeah.†And my go-to after-surgery drink is always cranberry juice, because I donâ€t ever drink anything like that.”

“So thatâ€s why, thatâ€s like, you know, nice and tart, kind of cleans your mouth out. So I had my cranberry juice, and then they were like, ‘well, you can get up whenever you feel like it.â€â€

He further said,

“I just sat around because I already had my shoes on. She untied the back of my thing. I pulled it off, put my T-shirt on, and was in the car, I think, total time until we hit the IHOP was under an hour. Yeah, 53 (minutes). And then I get home.â€

Kevin Nash Believes These WWE Stars Have The Best Mic Work

Speaking on a recent episode of his Kliq This! podcast, Nash named a few WWE stars having some of the best promo skills in the industry.

“[Kevin Nash]: The beginning of RAW, Cody [Rhodes] comes out. What do you want to talk about? And Iâ€m like, ‘Oh god, Iâ€ve missed this. Iâ€ve missed this.†Because when it comes down to it, right now, on a week-in, week-out basis, heâ€s the best interview in wrestling.

[Sean Oliver]: I would agree.

[ Kevin Nash]: You know, because Johnâ€s [Cena] part-time, right? I think John is in a class by himself, but heâ€s not gimmicky.

I think [Seth] Rollins is good. I think Sethâ€s good on the mic, but I donâ€t need to be reminded that heâ€s the innovator, heâ€s this, heâ€s that. I donâ€t need all the wrestling s**t.â€
