After ending last season in the bottom 10 in goals allowed, the Columbus Blue Jackets are making some changes to their crease.
Fedotov, 28, had a 6-13-4 record with a 3.15 goals-against average and .880 save percentage over 26 appearances in his first full season in the NHL.
Selected 188th overall in the seventh round of the 2015 NHL Draft, Fedotov joined the Flyers during the end of the 2023-24 season after completing his KHL campaign with CSKA Moscow.
The Finland-born Russian international had spent the 10 years prior playing in Russia and won a KHL championship with CSKA Moscow in the 2021-22 season.
He’ll now head to Columbus, where Elvis Merzlikins and AHL standout Jet Greaves currently top the depth chart between the pipes. The Blue Jackets allowed 267 goals last season, the eighth-most in the NHL.
