During Saturday Nightâ€s Main Event, WWE announced that next weekâ€s episode of RAW would kickstart a 16-man tournament. Titled The Last Time is Now Tournament. The tournamentâ€s winner will be the one to face off against Cena at his final ever match, on the December 13, 2025 rendition of WWE Saturday Nightâ€s Main Event.
The tournament will feature competitors from RAW, SmackDown, NXT, and, in a surprise twist, even people who donâ€t work at WWE. This opens the door to any number of potential surprise entrants, all of whom would likely love to be Cenaâ€s last opponent.
With the tournament set to feature stars from outside of WWE as well, fans quickly began speculating what exactly that could mean. Many began to theorize that this could mean stars like Adam Copeland could make their way in. However, itâ€s more likely weâ€ll see names like Joe Hendry and Matt Cardona instead.
Although that scenario seems unlikely, weâ€ll have to wait and see how the tournament plays out to see who Cena faces last.
