Drew McIntyre is clearly channeling all his fury before stepping into the ring against Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Just two days before their showdown at Saturday Nightâ€s Main Event on November 1, McIntyre took to Instagram and posted footage of himself and his wife letting loose inside a rage room—and the results were as chaotic as youâ€d expect.
Wearing a helmet and goggles, Drew stood in front of a wall painted with retro gaming characters and swung away at random objects while addressing the camera.
“I have an idea. All right. Weâ€re here today at the rage room. And it was Halloween. Weâ€re at the rage room. Why did nobody tell me a rage room exists? Apparently, I could just break as much as I want, get all my rage out of. Sometimes my problem. A Scottish anger gets in the way. I can get it out before Saturday. The key word of all. Use your brain. Iâ€m probably not gonna do that either. Iâ€m gonna mess some stuff. See, I. Can be PG. Searching for my shaker of salt.â€
McIntyre then smashed a glass jug with a baseball bat before the camera cut to his wife gleefully destroying beer bottles and glass bulbs of her own. After watching her finish her turn, Drew grabbed a crowbar and turned toward a flat-screen TV with one final message for fans.
“This is what it feels like to be a Drew McIntyre fan in a WWE title match. Letâ€s fix that. The Saturday nightâ€s main event.â€
He then demolished the TV in a violent swing before picking up the shattered TV and tossing it against the wall, adding one final line that perfectly captured his mindset heading into Saturdayâ€s title match.
“No more broken TVs for McIntyre.â€
The video ends with a smirk from Drew—half rage, half relief—as debris litters the floor. Itâ€s clear the Scottish Warrior is getting himself mentally ready to end his frustrations once and for all when he faces Cody Rhodes this weekend.
