The Dodgers’ new Low-A California League affiliate for 2026 officially has a name and logo.
Announced by the organization on Thursday, the Ontario Tower Buzzers will begin play at the brand new ONT Field for the 2026 season.
The Tower Buzzers brand identity was designed by Studio Simon. The mascot, visible on the main logo, is a bee named “Maverick”—an homage to the Top Gun character who has been known to buzz the tower, even if permission is denied.
The new logo was unveiled Thursday night at an event at Ontario Town Square. The new team is part of a three-team shuffle for 2026 in the California League.
The Tower Buzzers, who will be the Dodgers’ Low-A affiliate, are replacing the Modesto Nuts, who just completed their final season in the league. The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes are switching from being a Dodgers affiliate to an Angels affiliate for the 2026 season, while the Inland Empire 66ers will swap from the Angels to the Mariners.
