Nottinghamshire bowler Calvin Harrison has rejoined Northamptonshire on a short-term loan.
The 27-year-old leg-spinner returns to Wantage Road having taken 41 wickets in all formats during previous loan spells there this season.
He was recalled to Trent Bridge in June and was used by Notts in both Vitality T20 Blast and County Championship Division One games over the past two months.
Northants, seventh in Division Two, are without India spinner Yuzvendra Chahal for the final three games of the season after he returned home early for personal reasons.
They host promotion-chasing Glamorgan on Monday.
Notts’ head coach Peter Moores said Harrison has been allowed to return to Northamptonshire due to the resources at his disposal in the spinning department.
Neither club has specified the length of the agreement, although Moores indicated it might not be for the entirety of the remainder of the campaign.
“This latest spell will mean he’s ready to perform for us when needed towards the end of the season,” Moores added.
