Breezango Reunites After Former WWE Star’s Retirement Announcement

Former WWE duo Breezango reunites after recent retirement announcement.

One of the most notable tag teams that formed in WWE in the 2010s was Tyler Breeze and Fandango, collectively known as Breezango. Although they began performing in the main roster, they were eventually transferred to NXT to work with rising stars before their eventual release in 2021.

However, it didn’t take long before they both began working with WWE again. For Tyler, he worked as a guest coach for the Performance Center in 2022, re-joined Xavier Woods‘ UpUpDownDown YouTube Channel, and earlier this year, began working as an NXT writer. He also made a surprise television appearance in September.

As for Dango, wrestling as Johnny Curtis, he joined TNA in 2022. Due to the company’s existing relationship with WWE, he briefly returned earlier this year, where he unsuccessfully challenged Lexis King for the Heritage Cup. Now, both men are reunited once more

After the recent TNA taping, Fandango led several TNA stars to do his classic dance move, and was later joined by Tyler Breeze. This was followed by both of them striking the memorable Breezango pose and sharing a hug.

One-Half Of Former WWE Duo Breezango Will Officially Retire Next Year

During the latest episode of TNA iMPACT, Fandango announced that he will retire from in-ring action after the Genesis event in January, noting that he’s grateful for both WWE and Total Nonstop Action, along with the fans and his fellow wrestlers.

Iâ€ve decided that after Genesis in January, I will be retired from in-ring action. I didnâ€t want to throw this at you guys out here but I wanted to do this here in Orlando, because this place means the world to me. And I am so grateful for the past 27 years I have spent in this business, Iâ€m grateful for you guys, Iâ€m grateful for the WWE, Iâ€m grateful for TNA. Spent a lot of time being grateful in this business, but right now telling you that Iâ€m very grateful for the last couple of years in TNA, itâ€s the best locker room Iâ€ve ever been in, and I truly mean that from the bottom of my heart.â€

It’s surely heartwarming for many fans to see Breezango reunite, even just briefly, for what seems to be the final time before JDC officially retired from the sport.
