Blue Demon Jrâ€s family gives update following car crash

The family of wrestling legend Blue Demon Jr. has provided an update on his health following a car crash earlier this week.

The 59-year-old Blue Demon Jr. was involved in a car crash in the early hours of Monday this week and was hospitalized. On Thursday, El Hijo de Blue Demon Jr. posted an update on his Instagram account noting that his father is still in intensive care, but recovering well.

In relation to the vehicle crash that occurred early Monday, we are reporting that Blue Demon Jr. remains stable and out of danger.
By medical recommendation he remains in intensive therapy for specialized observation and follow-up.
His evolution so far has been favorable.
We appreciate the outpouring of love, support and prayers towards his speedy recovery, as well as the respect for his and his family’s privacy during this process.
We know that many people have tried to communicate with him directly; we ask for your patience and understanding, as the amount of messages and calls has been overwhelming. In due time, a response will be given and all shows of affection will be attended to.
