Blake Monroe Finally Gets AEW Specialty Match On WWE NXT

Blake Monroe is now confirmed to be at NXT No Mercy.

Earlier this year, following her departure from AEW as Mariah May, the British pro-wrestler made her long-awaited WWE debut. The former women’s champion made her NXT debut, sporting a new character and name, Blake Monroe.

While her initial appearance presented her as a babyface, Monroe soon transformed into a violent heel when she turned her back on Jordynne Grace. The duo has been involved in a long-standing rivalry for several months. Tonight, on the September 23rd episode of NXT, fans witnessed Monroe ambush Jordynne Grace following her match.

Frustrated with how the two women have behaved in their feud, NXT General Manager appeared and announced a Weaponized Steel Cage match between the two at No Mercy 2025.

It is worth noting that throughout Mariah May’s All Elite Wrestling career, she was involved in several violent and brutal matches, including her final AEW bout against Toni Storm.

Already at an advantage before this Saturday, fans expect the 27-year-old to come out victorious.

Earlier this month, while speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show, Toni Storm opened up about her honest thoughts on Blake Monroe.

God, weâ€re just uh sheâ€s the single most evil, cold-hearted b***h. Iâ€ve ever met in my life. I can honestly say that. Iâ€m glad that Iâ€ve banished her. I really did compromise her to a permanent end, but Iâ€m a big fan of that Blake Monroe.â€

At All Out 2025, Toni Storm lost her Women’s World Championship to Kris Statlander, and she has yet to address her title loss officially.
