The Blackhawks announced a two-year, $3.4-million contract agreement with defenceman Wyatt Kaiser on Wednesday.
Kaiser, 23, appeared in 57 games for the Blackhawks last season, collecting eight points, 93 blocked shots and 54 hits.
He has appeared in 93 NHL games with the Blackhawks and 54 AHL games with the Rockford IceHogs. He was originally a third-round pick by the Blackhawks in 2020.
Kaiser’s signing leaves five unsigned RFAs across the NHL: Mason McTavish of the Ducks, Luke Hughes of the Devils, Luke Evangelista of the Predators, Alexander Holtz of the Golden Knights and Rasmus Kupari of the Jets.
