Somerset have recalled all-rounder Ben Green from his loan at Leicestershire for the final three games of the 2025 season.
The 27-year-old will spend the rest of the campaign back at the Cooper Associates County Ground after impressing with both bat and ball for the Foxes.
Somerset, who host Yorkshire on Monday, are third in Division One, 26 points behind leaders Surrey.
Green has been an ever-present as Leicestershire set the pace at the top of County Championship Division Two.
He is joint-third in this season’s list of leading wicket-takers, sitting alongside club-mate Ian Holland with both claiming 31 wickets apiece.
Green has also weighed in with 328 runs at an average of 23.42, helping to put the Foxes in pole position for promotion.
However, Green’s move back to the West Country will not last beyond the rest of the season, as he will move back to Leicestershire on a permanent basis from November.
