Bayern Munich and adidas have unveiled the club’s annual Oktoberfest kit – and this year’s edition might be the most authentic nod to Bavarian tradition yet.
The release celebrates the 190th edition of the modern Oktoberfest beer festival, which began in 1810 with the royal wedding of Bavaria’s Crown Prince Ludwig (later King Ludwig I) and Princess Therese von Sachsen-Hildburghausen.
Fittingly, the 2025 kit blends football heritage with Alpine craftsmanship.

Built on a light beige base, the shirt draws inspiration from traditional Tracht garments worn during the festival, accented with deep green tones that echo the colours of Bavarian attire. Embossed Lederhosen-inspired textures and jacquard detailing elevate the design, pushing the Oktoberfest aesthetic to its fullest expression.
Finishing touches include a reimagined club crest in Bavarian-style lettering and the return of the adidas Trefoil logo, reinforcing the retro-meets-traditional feel.
The kit is completed with black shorts and socks featuring green trims, while a wider collection adds a cap, training top, button-down tracksuit jacket, and matching pants, all styled in grey with subtle green accents.
Bayern will debut the kit in their home clash against Werder Bremen on September 26.
As always, the Oktoberfest drop comes in limited supply, but this year’s highlight is a special collector’s edition box containing the full kit (jersey, shorts, socks). Fittingly, only 1,900 boxes are available worldwide.
