B/R’s 2025 College Football Experts Top 25 Rankings After Week 4

15. Ole Miss (4-0, Previous Rank: 14)

Week 4 Result: WIN vs. Tulane (45-10)
Next Week: at Nebraska

So much for a potential upset! In relief of injured QB Austin Simmons, Trinidad Chambliss again excelled. He threw for 307 yards and two scores, also scampering for 112 yards in the 45-10 demolition of Tulane—which had already defeated two power-conference teams in 2025. Kewan Lacy added 68 yards and two touchdowns on the ground for unbeaten Ole Miss.

14. Iowa State (4-0, Previous Rank: 12)

Week 4 Result: Idle
Next Week: vs. Arizona

Iowa State kicked off the campaign with a Big 12 victory over Kansas State, and now the rest of the conference slate arrives. Arizona comes to Ames for the first contest between the programs since 1968.

13. Tennessee (3-1, Previous Rank: 13)

Week 4 Result: WIN vs. UAB (56-24)
Next Week: at Mississippi State

Following a heart-breaking loss to Georgia, Tennessee responded as you’d expect opposite a non-power opponent. Joey Aguilar tossed three touchdowns, and the UT running game controlled the afternoon. Peyton Lewis, DeSean Bishop and Star Thomas each recorded 50-plus yards and scored at least once. The defense piled up nine tackles for loss, including three from Boo Carter.

12. Indiana (4-0, Previous Rank: 18)

Week 4 Result: WIN vs. Illinois (63-10)
Next Week: at Iowa

Indiana just set a record for the largest margin of victory over a Top 10 team in the history of the sport. Decent night! Fernando Mendoza launched his Heisman Trophy candidacy with a sterling 21-of-23 display, throwing for 267 yards and five touchdowns in the eye-popping rout.

11. Texas Tech (4-0, Previous Rank: 16)

Week 4 Result: WIN at Utah (34-10)
Next Week: Idle

Early kickoff? All good. Altitude? No problem. Starting QB leaves with an injury? Manageable. Will Hammond passed for 169 yards, rushed for 61 yards and scored twice in relief of Behren Morton, and the Red Raiders’ transfer-infused defense gave up a modest 267 yards in the triumph at Utah.
