Adam Pearce sent a chilling response to a WWE star who called him a bald-headed tyrant.
Adam Pearce announced a tag-team title match between World Tag Team Champions The Judgment Day and the newly formed tag team of AJ Styles and Dragon Lee, all thanks to Dominik Mysterio’s idea. And on the October 20 episode of WWE RAW, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh lost their tag titles to the tag team ‘AJ-Lee’ after holding the titles for over 100 days with just 1 title defense.
Now, the New Day member Xavier Woods, who has been mourning the loss of tag titles and the death of the tag team division on RAW, has shared his feelings about this title change via social media. In a recent post on X, Woods blamed the RAW GM Pearce for the way he has been handling the tag team division on a boat while in Venice, Italy. In the video clip, he said,
I just feel this need inside my chest to make sure that everybody understands that our new tag team champions, AJ Styles and Dragon Lee, aka AJ-Lee – because some of ya’ll are too dense to understand that’s what I meant when I said it in the last video – they’re not real tag team championships, it’s not even a real tag team, they don’t even have a tag team name, they don’t have matching gear. After they won the titles, after they were handed a title shot from the bald-headed tyrant Adam Pearce, they then toss it up to the public to give them tag team name because that’s how little they actually care about tag team wrestling.”
These comments perfectly highlight the recent frustration of the New Day with how things are working in RAW’s tag team division. Since New Day lost their tag titles to the Judgment Day on the June 30 RAW, things haven’t been the same on the show.
The RAW GM Pearce soon saw this post and reacted to it, sharing his honest opinion. He wrote,
I hope your boat sinks.”

This gesture from Pearce shows how he does not care about the greatest tag team of all time, and he is not grateful for the New Day.

In the same video clip, Woods talked about the miserable situation of the tag team division, saying,
I’m just so sick and tired of these tossed together teams that don’t care about tag team wrestling, getting shots, becoming champions, they shouldn’t be a team in the first place. It doesn’t make any sense. These guys, they are singles performers and singles wrestling is it’s own art, I do admit, but to be a true tag-team artist, you have to understand what your partner is going to do before they even know themselves.”
He then mentioned the controversial win of Jey Uso during the 20-man battle royal to determine CM Punk’s opponent for Saturday Night’s Main Event.
To have that actual bond, that actual brotherhood, unlike the Usos, because as we say Jey dumped Jimmy out so he could get a shot at title because apprarently, their family bond is nowhere as intense as Jey’s desire to become heavyweight champion. I would never do that to Kofi, because we’re an actual tag team. They New Day is the greatest team in existence, and ya’ll are all excited because AJ, who’s retiring and Dragon Lee, who was in the LWO, have formed a team at random that have gotten shot and they’ve become champions. It doesn’t make any sense.”
As of now, Woods is away for another week, as he confirmed in the clip that he will be returning in November. It would be interesting to see whether the New Day continues mourning the loss of tag titles or actually take some steps and challenge the newly crowned champions, AJ Styles and Dragon Lee.
