Fifteen players are within five shots of the lead heading into the weekend in Mississippi. The current leader: Garrick Higgo, a 26-year-old South African who is seeking his third PGA Tour title. Higgo fired rounds of 65-66 to reach 13 under par, which leads the field by one shot.
Other notable players in the mix include Eric Cole (-12) and Tom Kim (-10). Kim surged into contention on Friday with a second-round 66. Max Homa made the cut but currently trails the lead by eight shots.
