Roman Reigns Stretchered Out At WWE Clash In Paris

Roman Reigns may have won the battle, but did he lose the war this afternoon at WWE Clash in Paris?

In the opening contest of this afternoon’s WWE Clash in Paris premium live event, Roman Reigns defeated Bronson Reed. But that’s not the big story.

Following the match, Reigns got his sneakers back from a terrified Paul Heyman. Reigns proceeded to celebrate this by choking out The Oracle.

The OTC would head out to ringside and get on the commentary table to sign the sneakers and toss them into the crowd for the WWE Universe, only to be speared through the table he was standing on by Bron Breakker.

From there, Breakker and Reed proceeded to work together to destroy Reigns and send him out of Paris on a stretcher. You can check out a recap of this courtesy of our live results:

Reigns stands on the commentary desk and signs the shoes he just got back from Reed. Reigns tosses the signed shoes into the crowd. Bron Breakker appears out of nowhere and Spears Reigns off the commentary desk. Officials help Reigns up the ramp. Breakker runs back down the ramp and lands ANOTHER Spear! Reed sends Reigns back into the ring and lands a Tsunami. Reed brushes through the security and hits what seems like his 57th Tsunami on Regins.

It’s clear Reigns has once again been written off WWE programming to go film the upcoming Street Fighter movie as Akuma. WWE Champion Cody Rhodes is also in this movie as Guile and has been filming his role in recent weeks.
